The results suggest that consuming a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes may have beneficial effects on skin health. The exact mechanisms underlying this association are not yet clear, but it is thought that the high levels of antioxidants, fiber, and polyphenols present in plant-based foods may contribute to improved immune function and reduced inflammation.
