Seborrheic Scalp Before FUE: A Latvia Patient Guide

Redness, scaling and itching should be controlled before graft planning, because scalp inflammation can complicate recovery.

Seborrheic Scalp Before FUE: A Latvia Patient Guide

FUE planning is easier when the scalp is calm. Seborrheic dermatitis can create redness, flakes and itching that make density harder to judge and recovery less comfortable.

This does not mean every mild dandruff episode blocks surgery. It means repeated flares should be discussed early, especially if medicated shampoos are already being used.

Photos are useful when symptoms come and go. A clinic may see a calm scalp on consultation day, while the real pattern appears only during flare periods.

The goal is not perfect skin. The goal is a predictable scalp environment before grafts are harvested and implanted.
